Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many years has your company been in business?
A: We started our business in 1998 and sold our first lambs in 2000. In August of 2010 we moved our entire flock to Missouri as a result of Nora's job transfer. In January 2011, we completed all of the requirements to open our business in Missouri.
Q: I don't know how to cook lamb - can you help?
A: Yes, we provide all kinds of recipes and cooking tips to make it easy to prepare delicious lamb the first time. We have kid-tested recipes as well as pamphlets from the American Lamb Board filled with recipes. See our Recipes page for on-line ideas.
Q: Is your lamb available year-round?
A: Our lambs are harvested between 5 and 11 months of age, the individual cuts of meat are packaged at a USDA inpsected plant, and kept frozen in our commercial freezers. This allows us to maintain a year round supply of meat for our customers.
Q: Do you have regular hours?
A: We're at the farm 7 days a week. However, please call before coming. We might be out delivering Lamb!We can also be found at the farmers' markets listed on our Find Us page.
